TV Land presents Sex and the Classics

The 2004 TV Land Awards was a mixed bag of entertaining nostalgia--one could certainly run through a rollercoaster ride of emotions while watching it. It was sad seeing the final appearances of TV stalwart's such as Isabel Sanford, and the frailness of Don Knotts. It was cringe-inducing listening to Farrah Fawcett's bizarre acceptance speech or hearing Charlotte Rae attempt to sing the Facts of Life theme during the opening musical medley. The highlights of the show were Eric McCormack's brilliant musical tribute to the cast of Mary Tyler Moore, and of course, the Sex and the City spoof that our beloved Bea performed with Katherine Helmond, Sally Struthers and Charlotte Rae.
